Silbo 'From Gomera to Tyrol
Silbo 'From Gomera to Tyrol is the first animation of pUEnte, a project organized by the Spanish Ministry of Culture and Sport that wants to tribute and relate some traditions in Europe.
The one minute animation wants to draw a bridge between the silbo gomero (millenary whistled language that allows the canarian shepherds to communicate through mountains and ravines) and the Yodel or Tyrolean song, a form of singing that also has its origin in the call of the shepherds in the Alps.
